Bottle Design and Artwork: This is a 1/32 imp decant from KosmikFade. The front label features a heart and the decanting information in an ornate script above an acanthus leaf design and the decanting website address. The back of the label has the scent name and scent notes along with the perfume company’s name. The collection appears as follows:
Scent:
- ITI: Honey nectar and something somewhat fruity, but more resinous and mixed with lightly powdery amber. The honey smells promising, though!
- Wet: Oh that is honey, but it smells like honey balm solid skin lotion that I always sniff at Pike Place Market with crumbled honeycomb lightly dusted over it. The powder is mixed with amber, and there’s a lightly dreamy nectar sweetness from the vanilla tones and the saphir, but it’s mostly honey. Like HONEY! Now, I’m normally leery of honey notes because they turn rather…unpleasant on my skin. This, however, is definitively honey even on my skin.
- Dry: Okay, be prepared because this one has LOTS of throw and really sticks around. Even after 24 hours, I can smell the crumbled black honeycomb and buttery ambered honey mixed with crystalline vanilla and the faintest whisper of resinous incense. It remains true to form, at least on my skin, and has tremendous throw.
Other Impressions: [Wet] “It’s like a hibiscus powder but like hibiscus that’s not very sour.” -Tony
I’m at the 36 hour mark and I still smell Achilles quite clearly and true to its dry down. I’ve showered but it still persists! Waaaaiiiit! Why am I still smelling like black honey (72 hours after application)? Is my genetic makeup current fused with this scent? It’s not my Fitbit. It is definitely my skin. I’ve showered, scrubbed, and still I smell like Achilles. In fact, I had to apply the last few perfumes higher up my arm because this scent just won’t quit. Tony even agrees that he can still smell it, but now he says it’s more honey than hibiscus now.
